Evaluation of Blog Experience

I had never written in a blog before, so when the teacher told us that this would be an activity throughout the semester, I found it a bit extensive. But I think that in this time I learned a lot and it was also very entertaining to comment on my classmates and the same professor.

It is true that English has always been a bit difficult for me, but I think that by writing every week and reading my classmates, I develop new knowledge and the best, more entertaining than doing tests. 

As this activity I liked a lot, I think that in the future we could do a blog again, but in which we could write all. Each one could write a little news in English and form a medium of communication that fulfills a double function.

I would also like to write more personal stories, maybe we could ask our classmate to tell us a little story he would like to share and write it on the blog as an anecdote. That way we would know each other more and it would be more fun to talk. 

Now I am sad to think that I will stop writing on my blog, because I do not know what we will do next semester. I think my page will be forgotten and with spider webs. I hope to continue using it next to the teacher and my classmates.

The "Secret Friend" Trauma

The "secret friend" is a game  really typical for the Christmas party between coworkers, college, friends or family. It is a good option to give away without spending so much money and that the person receives a chosen gift with more dedication.

It was hard to remember if I had ever played the secret friend, but in the end I succeeded. When I was in school and it was the end of the year, together with my classmates we made the secret friend to deliver the gifts during the walk.  

I remember that wanted  I To choose a friend's paper because it would be easier to choose a gift. I tend to be very indecisive when buying something for someone else and can spend hours evaluating options. But guess what ... I chose someone I did not usually talk with, but as she a woman it was easier to find something, give him a shirt and she liked it! Then I thought, uff! Problem overcome!

It's been a long time since I've played it again, maybe later, but it's not really a tradition I play often. I prefer to give gifts to my family and take the time to choose them without a pressure.

Subject you've enjoyed

My favorite subject is Analysis of the audiovisual image with the teacher Javier Mateos, because I had really learned a lot and I could appreciate audiovisual products better. In this subject I had learned to verify aspects of image, sound, montage, symbolism and narration, as well a theories on film research. After this subject I did not see much cinema or series, but now does not happen a week without I am seeing some episode film. 
At first, I did not like it because I thought I was closer to the cinema career and the teacher I did not like much, but over time I had learned to appreciate it and today it is one of my favorite classes. Yesterday we had our last class and I felt very much sadness, because we will not have more classes of that matter. I hope you can learn a little about the image analysis, it is a very good tool for our lives. If you ever want to learn about this, I recommend you choose Professor Mateos, he is very good at what he does and although I thought he was from the cinematographic area, he is a Journalist!

A person on your field that you admire?

Who is he?

He is Javier Rebolledo, a journalist who was born in 1976 and he have forty years old. Since graduating he has been dedicated to investigative journalism and has integrated several teams in this area, in the topics that often about are related to systematic violations of human rights in Chile, abuse of minors and allegations of bad business practices and policies. In relation to them he has written for Seven + 7, The Clinic, The Nation Sunday and own productions. He also participated in the documentaries El mocito and Castilla, with which he won the Prize for Journalism of Excellence at the Universidad Alberto Hurtado in 2010. His best-known publications are The Dance of the Crows and The Awakening of the Crows. I like this journalist because I think he has managed to do a great job of research in all his publications. Even many of them have served as evidence in trials against people who have violated human rights. his books are really good and I think you might like them as well, I hope they can read them!

THE SOUNDTRACK OF MY LIFE

 From we are in the womb of our mothers we begin to develop our senses, I think the clearest is the auditory because through it we begin to persuade things, emotions, to recognize voices and to store memories. When I try to remember the sound of my life, that is the one that has marked me the most or the one I like the most, I can not do it. Can you remember everything you hear? I do not think so, that's why it's very difficult. But without a doubt, the sounds that I like to remember are those of nature, are something really relaxing.If you ask me about a song, I think Innuendo of Queen could hear it a thousand times without boring me. But the sounds of the commercials usually get very gummy, I always the sing them without realizing it, although then I remember that they only try to sell me something...

The story of a picture ...

Lunch atop a Skyscraper:

This is one of the most famous photographs that have been taken in New York and is well known in the world.The photographer was Charles Clyde Ebbets and took it in black and white in 1932 and during the construction of the RCA building.

This photograph is very important because it represents the labor situation that many workers lived during the Great Depression. Although there was apparently a job of preparation for it, the workers if they were on a 69th floor and their safety precautions were very bad.I find it striking that at some point the workers were treated like this, but even now there are many people who risk their lives for economic sustenance.Also, I would like to learn more about photography because I do not know much. Now we have a course in college and I think it has helped me a lot with the basic techniques.

My favourite scene:

Hello friends, I hope you ok

Today I will tell you about my favorite series scene that is ... The resurrection of Jon Snow !!

I chose this scene because I really like the series since I started seeing it last year.  When season number 5 finished all his fans are left with an emptiness in your hearts,  because Jon Snow was dead. Although everyone hoped that he would revive, the series is very unpredictable and they could not know until next year. Then, when this year's season 6  premiered, everyone was very anxious to know what would happen and when it came to the scene it was as if each one had taken up air with Jon Snow when opening their eyes.

But in addition to the plot, I think the producers and the director did a very good audiovisual editing, which generated a lot of attention.

This scene was a great relief!
